We offer classes for all ages and skill levels from beginner to advanced. Our Pitbull Fight Team is for those students who wish to test their skills in Mixed Martial Arts competition. In depth, detailed, technique training, as well as heavy conditioning and mental preparation all go into effect when training for competition. In addition to this, a healthy diet, and adequate rest is necessary in order to complement your training regiment.
Being a fighter is a lot tougher than it looks! But it’s not the fight that makes it tough. It’s all the days of preparation leading to that one moment. Fighters are expected to train at least 4-5 days a week, especially when a date is set for competition. The conditioning is hard. The workload is harder.
Our instructors will be with you every step of the way. We will push you past your limits. If you think you have what it takes, come visit the Academy. Our philosophy is simple, 1. Provide a fun, friendly, clean environment. 2. Incorporate the best equipment and training techniques available 3. Make it affordable for everyone. Come and visit our BRAND NEW facility and see the difference for yourself.

First of all let me say that this is one of the nicest most well designed gyms in the area. High ceilings, loads of space, and a huge garage door, make it fun to train there in the summer. The pro shop is loaded with tons of gear, (mostly throwdown and hayabusa stuff) and is sold lower than what I have seen online. I was greeted by the owner (Dave) when I first stepped in. He gave me a tour of the gym. Really nice thick mats, thai bags all over the place, and a top of the line throwdown elevated cage which looks really sweet. The girls locker room is small compared to the guys, but both have central air, and full size lockers. I used the bathroom and noticed it was clean and organized.
On to the training. I took a cardio kickboxing class first. The class was tough, as this is not your typical “chain gym” cardio class. Dave took the time to show the class how to punch and kick correctly, and through the rounds, would correct as needed. He seems very knowledgeable in the striking aspect. Class ran about an hour and I had a lot of fun participating in it. I was tired but stayed for the MMA class to watch.
The MMA class was mostly guys and a couple girls too. Dave taught this class also. They went over some ground work and striking and transitions from the ground. This class seemed more technical and I would have taken it if I wasn’t so tired. The class consisted of about 10 minutes of warm up, 30 minutes of technical training, and then the remaining time to condition the class. The circuit conditioning seemed very intense! Almost all the class finished, and seemed in good shape.
What I liked most about the class was it seemed like everyone had a positive attitude and wanted to help each other out. There were no ego, and I felt very comfortable there. Dave pushes the class hard and really seems to enjoy teaching.
I spoke with him about pricing after class. The pricing was very fair at 120 a month for unlimited classes. I could participate in any and all classes offered.
Just the cardio was 75 a month.
I would definitely recommend this gym if you are looking for a fun place to really learn some skill and grow as a martial artist.
