We are home to many jiu-jitsu players, champions, and regular guys who are eager to learn the Gentle Art free of ego and without the mentality of tournament base ! Even though we fight in tournaments, students do not have to compete, so everyone is welcome to try out our style! It’s a proven fact that our style works!
Our instructors are: Derrick Easterling is a multiple times Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Champion and also a professional fighter(1-1); and
David Thompson, who got his blue belt from Sergio Silva in 2001. David is a well rounded fighter and has also boxing experience!
We have two other locations in the East Bay: Our main location in Alameda, and now in El Cerrito!
