Great gym with great instructors. I had to leave after 4 months because of a job change but in those months I learned BJJ techniques that most gyms coaches don’t even think about. Definately the best on the coast! Bar none.
I think this score must be for the old gym or somethin. This place has 5 tars written all over it. The biggest, nicest martial arts academy I’ve ever seen, and everyone there is badass and cool as hell. Alan is the only UFC fighter even down here! people trippen giving this less than 5 stars. I’m loving the training, it’s hard but the coaches help push you and motivate. I just got into the advanced classes and it’s a whole new level of awesome
I started attending ABMMA’s boot camp classes and haven’t quit…. It has been 2 years! There is nothing more motivating than being surrounded by other people with the same goals and determination! Finding a place that provides motivation and then makes you keep it is hard to come by… This is where it’s at!!!! Never boring, always making new success!!!!
Great FAMILY gym! They have everything from Fighting to Fitness! Muay Thai, BJJ, MMA & Cardio Fitness! What more can you ask for? Plus for the kids they have the Chaos Kids program! I think this gym has a little of EVERYTHING! So, if you want to get in shape or earn a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu….this is the GYM for you! Not to mention the staff is awesome and many Pro’s train here!
I take the Combat Fit and Kickboxing classes offered at this gym. I’ve been going for almost 2 years and I am in the BEST shape of my life at 40 years old. And the main reason is the instructors. You couldn’t ask for a more motivating, friendly and knowledgeable group of people!
Best MMA instruction in the south. I was out of shape and hadn’t even considered fighting when I first got here. now i’m in the best shape of my life and about to go pro!
As soon as you walk in the doors at Alan Belcher’s MMA Club, you can feel the inviting atmosphere. I started taking the kickboxing classes and I love the variety each class has to offer. They are never the same and they are never boring. The instructor teaches the class but is able to give you one on one attention if you need it. It is a great workout and a fun place to be!
Really great gym, people who work there are always helpful. Different classes to help you lose weight and get in shape. I first started I lost 15 lbs in the first 6 weeks. I recommend this gym for anyone trying to enhance skills, as well as getting in shape.
Been training here a couple months now, and love it. I came to the area from the west coast, and was really surprised to hear Alan Belcher had a school here. I have always been a big fan of Belcher, and now training at his school is like a dream come true. Had an awesome time meeting the brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion that teaches there too, Daniel Moraes. That guy is awesome. Everyone here has been really cool and encouraging. Joing Alan Belcher MMA Club is the best choice I ever made, I hope they build another one closer to me in east ocean springs- it’s worth the drive though.
Didn’t know what to expect at first, and I was really just looking for somehting to get my kids off the xbox and playstation. Anyway I called and came in for the free private lesson they were offering at the time, and was so impressed with how well the kids listened and what they were learning that I signed them right up. Now a year later both my kids are like different people and they’re in the advanced classes! They aren’t just learning martial arts though, what really surprised me was how much their focus improved in school and at home, both my kids grades have gone up from B’s with a couple C’s and A’s, to straight A’s and A+’s! Mr. South, Mr. Pruitt, Mr. Belcher, and Mr. Mike have all done wonders for my kids, and now I’m about to step on the mats myself and try some jiu-jitsu. I did one class and it was a lot harder than I thought, but it was also way more fun and a better workout than anything else I’ve ever done. Joining Alan Belcher’s gym was kind of like dumb luck for me, but it’s one of the best decisions I ever made for my family. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the people here.
I’ve trained in a lot of places as I’ve moved around the country, and Alan Belcher MMA Club is easily the nicest place. Place is really impressive when you walk in too. 5 stars no doubt.
I love it here. Alan Belcher is a great leader. Its a real family here. I’ve went from white to blue in 11 months. I did’nt think i would ever learn mma and jiu jitsu but mike and alan are awe some. I hope to be in the purple belt program soon.
