The Forge Mixed Martial Arts Training Center is located in Vero Beach, Florida, and offers classes in Royce Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Boxing, Wrestling, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Cardio Kickboxing and Children’s Mixed Martial Arts.
These classes are available to children, men, women, and law enforcement personnel at all levels, from beginners to advanced, and are designed to teach self-defense, as well as create competent, well-rounded fighters in the most important aspects of Mixed Martial Arts.
The Forge in Vero Beach is a 3,000 square feet facility with a half-cage, two Muay Thai bags, a traditional heavy bag, a teardrop bag, a slip bag, a double-end bag and over 2,000 sq. ft. of mat space. There are two bathrooms, and two showers coming soon.
Two-time NJCAA National Qualifier and AAU Freestyle All-American, Brad Hurrell, teaches wrestling. Hurrell, a Judo black belt, also placed second in the 2006 Sombo World Team Trials.
Pete Seelbach, a former Marine and local weapons tactics instructor, teaches Muay Thai Boxing.
The Mixed Marital Arts classes during the lunch hour, as well as the children’s classes, are taught by Dan Kedem, who currently trains in the disciplines aforementioned.
